There is very little for Valentine’s Day and if you have not yet decided, this post would help you. We present a selection of young artisans who elaborate each of their pieces with great care. Modern, minimalist, transgressive, abstract or retro. Their styles include a myriad of designs, designed for all occasions. And all this, with a masterful savorir faire that places them among the best creators of handmade jewellery today.

Handmade jewelry for Valentine’s day:

There are many jewellery brands in the market and for the inexperienced eye all may seem the same. However, as in most products, the jewels also show evolutions, styles and designs that vary according to tastes and occasions.

Chic Alors

Look back to remember the Aztec, Egyptian and Art Deco jewels and bring them to today with a more minimalist and geometric design. Under this concept is born Chic Alors, a Parisian jewellery firm founded in 2008 by Héloïse Mialhe. His style is a geometric mixture of timeless shapes, where symmetry and well-defined lines create unique jewelleries. Brass, fine gold and enamel are always the inseparable companions of this evolution towards modernity.

His works can be found in almost all of Europe, as well as Canada, the United States and Japan. The starting price is € 55.

Les Neréides

It has been more than 10 years since the Italo-Belgian couple Pascale and Enzo Amaddeo created this jewellery firm. Their goal was to create fun and extravagant jewellery that allowed them to express themselves without limits. Today, her daughter has taken over from this family company, which designs and works with various workshops in Europe. The Eiffel Tower, Alice in Wonderland or tropical fruits are just some of the reasons that they have already worked with, offering a daring design full of colour, but at the same time simple and light.

As they tray, among their customers we find a girl profile “fun, carefree, mysterious and spontaneous, who does not mind mixing old and new”.

Pithy

Following the style of geometric shapes, one of the most outstanding handmade jewels are those created by Pithy Lab. Behind this project we find Rita, a young Italian designer who we interviewed recently. In this case, the combination of wood, paint and metal are the basic elements of her work, suitable for all occasions. The precision of the cut allows a fully integrated packaging, offering a unique and very original.

Deassín

The jewels created by Lucía Ruiz de Assín are an example of elegance and minimalism. The contemporary forms of this designer from Madrid are a delight for those who look for a subtle and modern design but with character. We had the pleasure of being able to interview her and we can attest to her experience and professionalism, being a reference in the crafts of this sector. And, the quality of their jewellery, combined with a versatile style, make her work a perfect complement for day to day.

Sew a song

Eva Dueñas is the creator of one of the best jewelry designs in our country. After 14 years as a cartoonist, Eva created the Sew a song brand in Barcelona in 2011. From her workshop, she makes each of these exclusive jewels by hand, where geometry shapes and materials compose a very personal style. We love the pop touch of her works, which surely will please the most elegant and cosmopolitan tastes. In addition, the colour palette is as wide as balanced, offering pieces capable of combining with a multitude of dresses.
