With the cold arrive the first color trends of fashion for the fall/winter. In this article we present them and also the latest looks and trends.
6 color trends for fall/winter 2016-2017:
The return of blues, the great classic for men … and women. And nothing more and nothing less that comes back with two versions. The Pantone Riverside and Airy Blue are chosen for this fall-winter. Both mark the entrance of winter and stand out for their originality. Knowledge brands such as Knowledge Cotton Apparel or Closed already incorporate it into their new collections.
Next to the blues, we have the Pantone Gray Sharkskin. Designed for the most cosmopolitan, it is possible to combine it with a multitude of colors. In its neutral appearance, the Sharkskin color conveys silence and serenity. Therefore, it is suitable as a warm coat.
The Red Aurora is one of the most powerful and attractive for this season. Provocative by definition, this red evokes sensuality and emotion in every detail.
We also find the Pantone Brown Clay. It connects perfectly with autumn, transmits warmth and is present in men’s and women’s clothing. Brands like Hartford have already included it in their new season. The result is elegant garments, suitable for most events, whether formal or non-formal.
And to finish we leave one of the fashionable colors with more success. If you’ve seen Kenzo’s latest spot, you know what we’re talking about. We refer the Pantone Green Lush Meadow. Its color is so intense that it is almost impossible to stop looking. Vibrant and sophisticated, this green comes to end the hegemony of other paler greens, such as kaki. Even so, the kaki color is still, today, one of the most fashionable colors, as we saw with Filson, even if it has let it be a trend.
And you? What do you prefer? See you on the next post 😉
