Entering a winery with the intention of buying a good wine is not easy. The price can guide us but it is not always the best indicator. But let’s be honest, how many people can claim to know in detail the nuances of each region and each producer? Perhaps, the decisive factor is the design of the bottle since, first of all, good wine continues to be a social object and a pleasure for the senses. To leave doubts, we have asked experts and artisans which organic wines could recommend us.

To the north of the Costa Brava, very close to Cadaqués, we find the Mas Estela winery. It is cultivated in terraces of slate and dry stone, at 120 meters of altitude, and its harvest is manual.
Its composition is 90% black garnacha, 5% Syrah, 5% Samsó, which warns us that this is a wine with sweet tones. Its aging is 18 months in French oak barrels.

Pícaro del Águila (red wine)
Our last red wine of this selection is a Ribera del Duero from the Dominio Del Águila winery. In this case, the composition is not as sweet as the previous one, which contributes a richer and contrasted flavor. This combination, together with a 20-month aging in French oak barrels, gives this wine its own red tones.
It should be noted that this is a young winery but with great know-how. An example of this excellent work is that some of its wines are among the best valued in the world, with a production of around 2,000 bottles for the Pícaro del Águila.
