How to make homemade tiramisu, a foodie dessert

Today we reveal the mystery and tell you how to prepare yourself a delicious tiramisu. I do not know if the recipe looks like the Italians, but our version looks great and it could be similar to your mother tiramisu. Let’s do it!

Ingredients for a handmade tiramisu:

– 500g mascarpone

– 300g of ladyfingers

– 250ml of coffee

– 60g of sugar

– 5 eggs

– 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

– 1 glass of cherry liqueur (kirsch)

Tiramisu recipe:

We start with a hot coffee in a medium bowl and adding 10g of sugar and kirsch. We mix it and we prepare the ladyfingers.

Meanwhile, separate the whites from the yolks and beat the yolks with the rest of the sugar. Add the mascarpone and beat with the electric rods or a beater by hand. There must be a spongy mixture. Subsequently, we beat egg whites.

We go back to the biscuits. We wet them one at a time in the coffee. With them, we cover it in a mould. You can choose a large one or distribute it in small bowls, so you can distribute them among several people.

Finally, we cover them with a thin layer of cream. Put one layer of biscuits and another of cream, so on, until everything is covered with cream. Cover with a transparent film and leave it in the fridge for at least 6 hours. Just at the moment of serving, sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa powder. We can also decorate it to our taste, for example, with chocolate chips.
